Field Day Waiver and Photo Release

By registering a player you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian (or the player, if 18 or over) and you agree to the following.

  1. Taking part is voluntary. Lacrosse is a contact sport. I understand the risks, including injury, and I choose to let my player take part.
  2. Release. To the extent the law allows, I release the Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation, its directors, staff, volunteers, ambassadors, partner clubs and venue hosts from claims for injury, loss or damage arising from participation. This release does not apply to loss caused by their negligence or where Australian Consumer Law does not permit it.
  3. Fitness and medical care. My player is fit to take part. If they are hurt, I authorise first aid and, if needed, transport to medical care. Any medical costs are mine.
  4. Photo and video. The Foundation and its partners may photograph and film the day and use my player's image, name and likeness in any media, worldwide, without payment, to tell the story of Lacrosse the Globe. If you do not consent, email sarah@cjrfoundation.com before the event and we will do our best to keep your player out of published material.
  5. Conduct. Players follow the coaches' instructions and treat everyone with respect. We may remove a player for unsafe or disrespectful behaviour without refund.
  6. Refunds. Entry is A$25 per player per session and is non-refundable, except if the Foundation changes the event date. In that case you may choose a full refund. A weather delay on the day is not a date change.
  7. Privacy. We collect your details to run the event and keep your player safe. They are stored in Stripe and our email tools and shared only with the on-site coaching and first aid team. We never sell them.
