We’re heading to Tourmaline Beach, a popular surf break in the Pacific Beach area, with buckets and gloves and friends in tow to clean up a beach frequented by local surfers.

This cleanup is held in honor of Jake—brother, doctor, surfer, and ocean lover—who found his greatest joy in the waves and was deeply passionate about protecting the coastal places they loved.
