Fuel for Good Returns: Diesel Rosé is Back
Jake never called it Rosé. To him it was Diesel. Not because it was strong, but because it was fuel for good times, laughter and nights that went long.
Fuel for Good is back for another year. From 19 August to 30 September, Happs Wines is once again releasing its limited-edition Bone Dry Rosé (Diesel Edition), named after Jake's playful nickname for his favourite drink. For every bottle sold, 50% of profits go to the Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation, and this year's campaign carries extra weight, with Jake's birthday falling on 12 September.
Why We Call it 'Diesel'
If you ever shared a glass of rosé with Jake Robinson, you'd know he never called it that. To him, it was Diesel. Not because it was strong, but because it was fuel, the kind that kept the good times rolling and the nights going long.
The story started the way most good ones do: with mates, a winery tour and a nickname that just... stuck. What began as a bit of uni banter quickly became Jake's signature. He gave it a spin, made it his own, and from that day on, rosé was Diesel. Like all the best nicknames, it caught on fast.
